The thing with boarding on your own is, you go at a much harder and more intense pace than with mates. So it was that after a cracking morning in Tignes, I ate my sarnies on the lifts to Val. Went all the way over to the glacier (called PissArtist or something like that!) but by the time I'd done a few runs I was totally knackered and wanted nothing more than a dam good cuppa.

The runs in the area are way undergraded (blues are actually like reds) but that didn't worry me, although the final approach into Val, a 'red' run, was pretty hairy and not relly so great.
